Established as an Australian icon, Frosty Boy Australia has been spreading ‘pure happiness’ for 40 years. 2016 marks 40 years since Frosty Boy Australia was established and have been manufacturing and distributing quality made products within the food and beverage industry.

Frosty Boy was first established in 1976, after there was a demand in the market for a more high quality, affordable soft serve. Since its establishment, Frosty Boy has established themselves as a respected manufacturer of quality grade products, using the highest quality ingredients and credible suppliers with strict food safety accreditations. After identifying and meeting the demand for a better range of soft serve, Frosty Boy Australia, which was acquired by a privately owned company in 1999, expanded their range of products to include frozen yoghurt bases, contract milk powder, toppings, flavouring syrups and most recently a range of beverage powders – The Art of Blend. 

Due to the high standard Frosty Boy holds for each of their products, it has become a well-recognised icon for soft serve both in Australia and around the world. In 2001, Frosty Boy successfully initiated internationalism and is now a valuable partner for a range of clients worldwide. To date Frosty Boy gets 75% of its revenue from export sales – exporting to 48 countries across all 5 continents, our worldwide distributor network is committed to providing our customers with the best service possible to allow their business to succeed. While reflecting on the past 40 years and the success so far, Frosty boy is now focused on celebrating this milestone with more international growth, especially within the Asian market. Frosty Boy already supplies their range of soft serve, frozen yoghurt and beverage powders to some of the biggest fast-food restaurants across Asia, including KFC, Burger King and Pizza Hut. 

Frosty Boy has undergone significant growth over the past 40 years including expanding their product range, their client base and their physical facilities. Frosty Boy has relocated twice, in order to cope with the manufacturing and sales demands. In 2004 Frosty Boy relocated to a larger facility that offered the company the flexibility and productivity to serve large chains worldwide. Major emphasis was placed on quality control and efficiency during the plants development. As Frosty Boy continued to grow, they relocated again to a purpose built, cutting edge facility in Yatala Queensland in 2014. The new factory boasts two state of the art production lines, larger facilities for research and development and a larger laboratory for quality product testing. This relocation marked the next chapter for Frosty Boy as a leader in the desert and beverage market. With the new production capabilities and Frosty Boys experienced Research & Development team, Frosty Boy offers the opportunity to create custom formulated products to meet customer’s specific business and product needs. 

The key to Frosty Boys success to date is having a strong strategy and goal and after reflecting and appreciating past achievements, Frosty Boy is now focused on celebrating this major milestone with more international growth.
